Poster Competition
The Nimbin Fringe is calling on artists, designers and visual storytellers to help shape the look of this year’s festival.
We’re inviting submissions for the official Nimbin Fringe Festival poster, inspired by the theme “There’s so much more to Nimbin.” Beyond the headlines and clichés, Nimbin is a place of creativity, resilience, humour, activism, art and deep community — and we want to see what that means to you.
The winning artwork will become a key part of the festival’s visual identity and will be shared across print, online and social platforms in the lead-up to the event.
What’s on offer
The selected artist will receive:
-
A double pass to the Nimbin Fringe Festival
-
The opportunity to exhibit their work as part of the festival program
A community-led festival
Nimbin Fringe is a grassroots, community-driven arts festival, created to celebrate the depth and diversity of creative practice in and around Nimbin and the Northern Rivers. It’s about participation, collaboration and making space for voices and ideas that don’t always fit neatly on a main stage.
This poster competition is part of that ethos — an open invitation to contribute to the story of the festival and help show the many layers of Nimbin through your eyes.

Entries close midnight, 31 March.
Submissions can be made via the website or emailed to nimbinfringe@gmail.com.
