Friends of the Fringe is your invitation to be part of the foundation of the Nimbin Fringe. By becoming an inaugural supporter, you’re not just buying access to events — you’re helping bring an entirely new creative platform to life in the Northern Rivers.
For 5 monthly payments of $30 or $150 upfront, you’ll receive access to a curated program of eligible Fringe events across the festival weekend, along with discounts on merchandise and the satisfaction of directly supporting artists, volunteers, and grassroots culture.
This is about backing something at its beginning — a festival built for and by the community, celebrating creativity across performance, music, visual art, and experimental work.

1. Membership & Payments

Membership is available as either:

Five (5) monthly payments of $30 AUD, or

One (1) upfront payment of $150 AUD

By selecting the payment plan, you agree to complete all scheduled payments.
2. Access & Eligibility

Membership provides access to eligible festival events only.

Some events may be excluded due to:

Capacity limits
-
External ticketing arrangements
-
Special or premium programming
-

A list of included/excluded events will be provided prior to the festival.
3. Reserved Seating

Reserved premium seating is offered where available and is not guaranteed at all events.

Some venues or event formats may not support reserved seating.
4. Entry Conditions

Entry remains subject to venue capacity and safety regulations.

For high-demand events, members may still need to:

6. Lanyard / Pass / Badge

Members will receive a limited edition identifier (lanyard, pass, or badge).

This must be presented for access to benefits where required.

Items are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
7. Recognition (Optional)

Members may opt in to be publicly recognised as a Founding Friend.

Recognition may include name listing on the website and/or printed program.

The festival reserves the right to format listings consistently.
8. Cancellations & Refunds

Payments are non-refundable, except where the festival is cancelled or significantly altered.

Failure to complete a payment plan may result in:

Suspension of benefits

Cancellation of membership access

9. Program Changes

Nimbin Fringe reserves the right to:

Modify programming, venues, and schedules

Adjust benefit availability where necessary

No refunds will be issued due to program changes alone.
10. Code of Conduct

The festival may revoke access for inappropriate behaviour without refund.
11. Transferability

Memberships and associated benefits are non-transferable unless approved in writing.
12. Force Majeure

The festival is not liable for changes or cancellations caused by events outside its control, including:

Public safety issues
